Bachelor of Commerce in Insurance & Actuarial Studies is the discipline that applies mathematical and statistical methods to assess risk in the insurance and finance industries. Actuaries use mathematics, statistics, and financial theory to study uncertain future events, especially those of concern to insurance and pension programs. A graduate in this course is a great fit to insurance companies, consulting firms, government establishments, employee benefits departments of large corporations, hospitals, banks and investment firms, or more generally, in any businesses that need to manage financial risk.
