Attendance Policy (UG & PG Programs)
- Minimum Attendance Requirement
Students must maintain at least 75% attendance in each subject/course to be eligible to appear for the semester-end examination.
Attendance will be calculated based on the total number of classes conducted.

- Condonation of Attendance
Attendance shortage up to 10% may be condoned for genuine reasons such as:
- Medical emergencies (with medical certificate)
- Participation in sports, NCC, NSS, cultural or academic events
- Official representation of the college/university
- Family emergencies
Condonation approval must be obtained from the Principal / Academic Committee.
- Monitoring of Attendance
- Attendance will be recorded daily by faculty members.
- Monthly attendance reports will be communicated to students.
- Parents/guardians may be informed if attendance falls below 75%.
- Continuous Monitoring System
The college will:
- Maintain department-wise attendance registers or digital records.
- Review attendance periodically in department meetings.
- Provide mentoring or counselingfor students with low attendance.
- Attendance for Internal Assessment
- Students with less than 75% attendancemay not be eligible for internal assessment marks or assignments, unless condoned.
- Leave Procedure
Students must submit:
- Leave application in advance (for planned leave)
- Medical certificate (for illness)
- Supporting documents for official participation.
- Special Cases
- Students representing the institution in sports, cultural activities, seminars, conferences, NSS/NCC campswill receive attendance consideration as per university rules.
