Objectives of the Research Cell
The Research Cell at City College Jayanagar is guided by the following core objectives:
- To cultivate a culture of research and scholarly enquiry among faculty, staff, and students across all departments.
- To support faculty and postgraduate students in preparing and submitting research funding proposals to bodies such as UGC, ICSSR, DBT, DST, and industry partners.
- To encourage the publication of research papers, articles, and reviews in national and internationally reputed journals, conferences, and academic magazines.
- To build a transparent, accountable, and autonomy-driven research environment that enables sustained academic growth.
- To facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and connect the CCJ academic community with research networks across Bengaluru and India.
- To assist students in developing research-oriented dissertation work at the UG and PG level under faculty mentorship.
