Pre-University Course (PUC)
The Pre-University course (PUC) is an intermediate course of two years duration conducted by the Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka. City PU College under the reputed Karnataka PU Board offers two streams, Science and Commerce. PUC is the most popular choice after Class 10. After completing the PUC course, there are an endless number of opportunities available for the students.
PUC Science stream will lead you to the basic pure science or an applied science course. At City College, Jayanagar, the two year course is available in two combinations that are Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Biology or Computer Science. These combinations are a must for taking up science programs at the graduate level. Our faculties have a strong commitment towards teaching while employing the best of innovative methods and technology in their teaching practice. We also encourage students to participate in personality development activities like NSS, NCC, Sports and Cultural activities. PUC Commerce stream is offered in two combinations that are Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Computer Science or Statistics.
